CREEDOM BOOK CRITIQUES™
Creedom Book Critiques was established in 2017 when independent authors were still treated unfavorably by readers, reviewers, and publishers in the book industry. For an industry that should be based on talent and writing ability, most times popularity and politics ruin opportunities for aspiring writers. Creedom was founded on the principle that all authors deserve an equal chance at success and deserve their work to be reviewed and promoted. Today, indie authors are finally winning the respect they deserve, and Creedom has come to solidify their spot as one of the honest and innovative review companies in the book industry.
What do I get with my review from Creedom?
Each work is given an unbiased, editorial book review of approximately 250-800 words. Some reviews will include a Leader Quote at the top of the review, which can be used as a stand-alone marketing quote. The review is summed up by a closing paragraph, which gives an overall rating and opinion of the work, and if it is part of a series or not.
Each work is given a fair and honest review. If the review is not positive, the reviewer will explain exactly what parts of the work caused it to receive a low rating. This will be constructive criticism we hope will be used to motivate the author to continue perfecting their craft. The review is the property of the Creedom, LLC and only authors/publishers who purchase reviews will be allowed to use the review in whatever manner they choose. If an author/publisher receives a free review, they will need written permission from Creedom to use and repost the review of their book. Any author/publisher who speaks negatively about Creedom in any manner as a result of a review they receive will be considered defaming the character and integrity of the company. Our legal team will immediately handle these matters.

What are the benefits of paying for a review?
Paying for a professional, unbiased, editorial review is an acceptable practice within the industry. Whether a review is positive or negative, it will attract attention to your book. If you receive a positive review, your book will shine bright above all competition, from the day your book is launched. Negative reviews can also generate attention. At the end of the day, reviews are always opinions, even when coming from professional and experienced reviewers. An example would be a specific reviewer rating a horror book low because it has “too much gore and killing,” that could attract readers who enjoy that type of content in a horror book. Reviews are advertising at the point of sale, whether on retail websites or on the dust jacket of the book in readers’ hands. Readers often use editorial reviews to decide to purchase.
Paying for a book review is beneficial because it catapults your book to the top of the pile. Although Creedom is proud to offer free reviews to all authors/publishers, reviews that are paid for will always have priority to ensure those authors/publishers receive all the proper promotional material included with their review. Paid reviews also guarantee your review will be included in our e-newsletter that reaches thousands of readers, writers, teachers, librarians, and publishers. Some of our paid packages include a video review that will be posted on our site and other internet outlets.
Reviews are one of the most powerful tools in your belt. Reviews take time to come in and using Creedom is one way you can guarantee your book receives a reputable review.
